Winta Mebrahti

Winta graduated from SUNY-Plattsburgh, where she served as the managing editor of the award-winning student newspaper, Cardinal Points. Previously, she served as the editor in chief of DoNorth, a travel magazine. Under her leadership, DoNorth received an All-American rating from the Associated Collegiate Press. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and was a 2016 finalist for N.A.B.J.’s Salute to Excellence for Collegiate Feature Reporting award. She also worked as a copy editor and designer for the Johnson Newspaper Corporation.
